Champion Seafood
Recently The DeHanas Team announced the decision to form our own real estate brokerage and within the last couple of months,
that dream became a reality. We are now DeHanas Real Estate Services and have moved to a different location with a fresh new look.
While exploring our new home in St. Charles Towne Plaza, we discovered another entrepreneur with a fresh approach. The key word here is
definitely "fresh".
Champion Seafood, a carry out restaurant located around the corner from our office, exceeded all of our expectations. All of their menu items
are prepared fresh daily and I have been assured by manager, Gwendolyn Reeves that everything is homemade. We weren't surprised by that
revelation, their food is excellent.
They serve a wide variety of seafood including shrimp, catfish, oysters, scallops, crab cakes, and crab legs. But just as noteworthy are their side
dishes which include yams, collard greens, baked beans, potato salad, french fries, hush puppies, cole slaw, sweet corn and macaroni and cheese.
Other menu items include Buffalo wings, cream of crab soup, pork chops and a homemade dessert menu consisting of banana pudding, strawberry
shortcake, apple and peach cobbler and sweet potato pie. We are definitely talking about old fashioned southern cuisine here. Champion also
serves a feast for anywhere from 5 to 7 people which consists of fish, oysters, shrimp, scallops, crab cakes and Buffalo wings for $52.99.
Now that's a pretty affordable family seafood dinner! If you have a bigger event in mind than just feeding the family, check out their catering
services and bakery.
Owners, Rod Milstead, Jeffrey Johnson and Corey Walters definitely have the right idea and The DeHanas Team will thoroughly enjoy sharing St.
Charles Towne Plaza with people that take as much pride in their work as we do.
